Parent Advisory Board

Each Prospect Hill Academy Charter School campus works with a campus-specific Parent Advisory Board (PAB). The purpose of the PAB is to create, organize, and promote events which encourage the active involvement of parents and guardians.

The PAB’s role is to:

  • Act as a liaison between parents, guardians, students, teachers, and administration.
  • Organize and promote informative and community-building events.
  • Provide support to PHA families.

The PAB is parent-driven with the support of PHA’s administration and examines “big picture” concerns that the larger parent community might have. The PAB is tasked with considering potential solutions for such issues and bringing constructive recommendations to the school administrators.

The PAB is open to all parents with children at Prospect Hill Academy Charter School, although a “sign-up” period at the beginning of the school year may apply to some campuses.

Meetings are generally held monthly and K-12 PAB meetings are held semi-annually.
