n the spring of 2006, the PHACS Foundation began awarding two annual scholarships: The Leadership Award Scholarship and the Jack O'Brien Athletic Scholarship. The first is designated for a student who has demonstrated leadership both in school and outside of school, exceeding Prospect Hill Academy requirements for responsible citizenship. The second, named in honor of Prospect Hill Academy’s Athletic Director and founder of the Massachusetts Charter School Athletic Organization, is awarded to a senior who has made significant contributions to one of the Prospect Hill Academy teams as well as demonstrated a tireless commitment to the team, shown team spirit, and provided outstanding leadership.
In addition, both scholarships require that awardees must graduate and attend college in the coming fall, be in good academic standing, have no significant disciplinary history, and exhibit solid attendance throughout high school.
